Curious what the value is on these $1 &$2 bills uncut?

Are these worth sending in to be graded, or do they even grade uncut sheets?

Any help appreciated...

I wouldn't put a significant value on these uncut notes. Put 'em in a nice frame and display them. I think it would cost you more to grade than they're worth and coming back in the slab wouldn't look as appealing in my opinion.

I'm still looking for uncut $5's and $10s for my collection... if you ever see those please let me know!

Those have been cut? I thought the actual sheets are like 20 or so notes each, I am probably worng on the actual number, but all of the "uncut" sheets I have seen are a lot larger than these.

ace: I think the sheets you're thinking of are the 40 note sheets.... they did put out smaller sheets as well.. I know there were smaller sheets of four notes for the $1 notes... cut in both directions ones like the picture above as well as four $1 notes in one straight column. I have never seen smaller sheets of $2 notes cut into 3's before but that's not to say it didn't happen. You could be right though lots of people have cut them out of sheets and sold them before.

cut them diagonally and claim as "errors" ;)

just kidding, but I wonder if that would work to increase the value?

Nice looking notes however, I'd frame them and hang them up somewhere

I have an uncut sheet
of 40 1973 $1.00
that I had framed around
1990.
prefix BFD
crow/bouey
has having them framed
reduced the value.(?)
could anyone supply me with
a rough estimate on value.(?)
thanks in advance

Going by the serial numbers I would say these are cut from sheets of 40. The average sale price for a sheet of 40 x $1 is around 170.00 CDN plus shipping.

Usually when these sheets are framed and displayed one side ends up fading a bit over the other....

I bought these sheets in the past because I thought they were cool and I think banknotes are like pieces of art so I have my $1 and $2 framed and up in my folks rec room

having this done
seemed a good idea at the time
if memory serves the framing
cost as much if not more than the
bills themselves
still I wished I had more !!
