Hi guys
I just dug this shilling and noticed some listed on ebay as being the "broken 3" variety.

Would this be considered a broken 3?

Hard to say from the photo - it might be a ding. Do you have a bigger photo?

Unfortunately there's some grunge right on the bottom of the 3, so as Mr T requested, a close up of the 3 would make it easier to identify.

Thanks for your replies.

It's so hard to photograph, some angles you can clearly see a break, but still some faint connection, but I don't really know what I'm looking at, and if it even matters as its a dug coin.

Here is a much clearer image.

Thanks for the help.

Looking at a picture in an old Renniks, I believe it is a genuine broken 3.
