I simply went to the bank and bought coin rolls for fun, found this in the batch.

Do any of you think this is in fact a double die?

Much appreciated,

Adam = )

The date looks thick but it is hard to say, try and focus your camera through a loop on the date and get it as clear as possible. Use a stack of books or magazines to get a set focal length for the camera

Should I scan it? I am unable to get a closeup with the date.

I added another pic in my original post.

Also if you get a microscope, you can take pics through the microscope and get great closeups.

It appears to me that your pics are from an angle.

I found that the stack of books idea works great, especially if your cell phone has zooming in capacity.
