The last A in America sometimes has a "curved" looking line in the middle, while sometimes it's straight? Even the bottom corners are different.
Is it post mint, or a very minor die break? I see it all the time on different cents so I'm sure it's no variant or anything.

That's interesting. I've never noticed this. The letters don't match in size either. I too will be watching for comments here.

I have notice that and the bottom horizontal on the "E" is the same way sometimes....I always just thought it was attributed to die deteriation.

If you look at the "C" in both pictures...you see how much difference there is not just in the device definition but width as well?

Thats why I have attributed it to die deteriation, but I have no clue if I am right.

The 2 things I thought I would hear (or see replied, actually) was coin roll damage or Die Deterioration.
