I've seen regular quarters missing clad layers, but cant find anything solid about the Bicentennial. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a buried coin. Being in the ground for some time can leave the coin looking very dark.

I also think I see some of the clad layer peeking through the discoloration on the reverse, especially on the rim and the drummer's face.

I was thinking that was clad that hasn't peeled yet? There are a couple of layers there .

It also looks like the drummber has two faces. I'm very new at this, thank you for your input. do u think its worth anything?

Through the corrosion you can see silver in the high spots. That is the cupro-nickel layers. Just a homeless quarter.

It looks like the drummer took a hit to the face. The coin appears to be indented there.
