I won't hog this thread, but one more note - I have purchased three or four Lincoln Wheat cent lots of 500 coins or so and found some great bargains. So, despite the many questionable "Unsearched" Lincoln Wheat cent lots (wherein all the good coins have been culled), there are some honorable ebay sellers who either throw in some 'extras' or who really don't look at every single coin and are willing to let some goodies go by simply because they don't want to search them all and/or they are good people who know they're still making some profit. The best such find for me so far was an 1858 Flying Eagle (large letters) cent in at least EF-40 (I'm being conservative since I'm a newbie, and when I get my photo system setup, I'll solicit the experts' opinions ;-), which cost me 11 cents (FMV = $138).

I don't collect these, but I think this is a decent price for this coin. (Unless it is cleaned - I posted a question about that in the Main Coin Forum.) Auction on ebay, ends at 21:07 UTC tonight. Can't wait to see some posts of Seated dollars or pre-1933 US gold coins... LOL. Some good finds on here nonetheless!

Oh darn Finn! That is a fascinating design - I can see the attraction of Asian coins. :O) Osprey - I like how the seller of that 1854 Seated Liberty Half is honest about the coin - "1854 Seated Half VF details cleaned." Nice to see.
