Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6396 Posts	Posted 10/06/2015 11:55 am Early dates like the 1917-S occasionally turn up in my local coin shop's generic Walker bin. Grades are generally AG to marginal VG and I will usually pick them up if they are problem-free with decent eye appeal. Sure, you can get a VF coin from the '40s for the same $10 price but the early dates are much more appealing IMO. Nice pick-up, enjoy! Report this Post to the Staff
