Glare, shadows and scratches are from the holder. Coin is clean.

MS-64? I kind of want to say 65/66 but the abrasive marks on the head (near the eyes, and some on the neck) are holding me back
Rest in Peace

Any chance for a couple more photos? Unable to tell luster and surface quality from these.

Thanks

Anyways, if the OP could post better pics of the luster, we could more accurately grade the coin.

Buffs are THE hardest series to grade. Literally, year by year, mint by mint diagnostics for grading.

Reverse - horn flat, no split tail.

Obverse - are those scratches on the slab at the upper cheekbone/corner of eye? If not....

With the above, I am at AU55. LOVE the luster!

Sorry, but I can't seem to get a good pick showing luster. Hard to describe: kind of satiny, smooth with a very slight hint of gold. Anyway, here it is:

Got it right

Nice coin, and I think PCGS nailed the grade.
