Very nice Indian head and, hard to find date in great condition, or at least I find it is.  LIBERTY good and bold real nice obverse, the reverse shield is worn but, I'll say EF-40

I put it at EF-40 also. A toothpick may take the crud off of the reverse. Nice coin!

I'd be in that EF-40 camp, and it really is a beautiful obverse. As was suggested a WOODEN tooth pick might remove some of that reverse crud as long as you are careful and don't touch the coin surface.

I'm at 45. A tiny dab of olive oil on the toothpick might help loosen the crud.
