I have no experience with these, but what a beautiful coin. I would say MS64. The top of the wings looks to be not wear but weak strike area. love it

Slightly mishandled 63. Obverse right field suggests it was wiped at one point. Very attractive.

This coin has sick eye appeal. Shes a beauty. I think its seen ever so light circulation. AU58. Eagle talons. Eagle neck. Right thigh and ear have ever so slight signs of it. Am I wrong?

If you want to figure out the mystery of this coin, a good place to start would be to compare the stars on the obverse left of Ms. Liberty vs. right of her. See a difference? That should tell you why the reverse (the eagle's right if the coin is turned over) also shows a bit of the same thing.

paralyse, are you referring to the weakness in the stars on the obverse and the die break and recut letters in America?

Yup. It's strange, the right side of the coin was struck weaker than the left side.

Beauty sir. Slider? I'm tempted to think so and say AU58 but man alive those mirrors scream MS. I'm stuck. Regardless, that's the best looking double dime I've seen. What a pick up!

Thanks for all the responses so far. I have been on the fence grade wise with this coin for some time. My gut tells me AU-58 but when I look at PCGS and NGC graded AU-58's, this one blows them away. Here is a PCGS AU-58 coin;
