Can someone explain to me what I need to look for on the 1988 one cent! My Cherrypickers says look for Wide AM but I have about 15 88and 15 88d and they all have the Wide AM. They also appear to have the G from the 89 I know I'm not that lucky.

1998 is the cent to look for the Wide AM along with '99 and 2000. 1993 started the Close AM's-'88 is supposed to be wide

Well that's what I thought but the book shows a 88 with a 89 reverse so I was just wondering if anyone had any idea. Thank you

Here is side by side comparison of what to look for on 1988 and 1988-D cents. The one on the left is normal. The one on the right is the RDV-006 (reverse design variety) which was supposed to start in 1989. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...5-006_1_.jpg
