I found this while roll hunting. It's not magnetic, weighs 3.09g. Has crystal growth on reverse.

That is an interesting cent @jhillx1. Are you basing the "wrong metal" determination based on the color? I'm thinking that because it is the correct weight, it is much more likely that your coin was just heavily plated in the far past (but after it left the mint).

Plating is a possibility, but the difference in color may just be a product of the corrosion which produced the texture on the reverse.
Sorry, this coin is just damaged, but keep on looking and something will turn up.

I'm going with a plating issue with a lot of ED . A cull in all standings .
