Looking for a scale that goes down to 0.001g and 20 g or more for under $20 w/free shipping. Any links would be great. Thanks all.

Not going to happen. Most of the cheapies are 0.01g accuracy at best. Plenty of those on ebay direct from China.

0.001g puts you into a whole new world.

The Jennings with 0.002g accuracy, 20g max is about the best bet. I love mine. But that's $60

If you are seeing that accuracy for less than $50, let alone $20, that alone is a good indication that you should be cautious.

Remember that the .001 is so accurate that if you stand five feet away from it and blow, it will register that air disturbance.

I'd simply go to a .01 if you want less than $20.

.001 scales are generally used for laboratories, serious powder/gun re-loaders, and gems/diamonds, they will almost without exception have a cover over them to stop any air disturbances from affecting the weighing of materials (per-moxking), they are really way to accurate for anything needed in numismatics, if you need you could always use the water displacement method to figure out density along with a digital scale accurate to .01 grams.
