The liberty of 1969 s is very easy to see, even with naked eye. You do not need a lope to see 1969 s DDO. It is obvious if you see one. and it is very rare.

No, that's not the doubled die. The doubled die is BOLD and is amazing if you find one.

Pictures aren't good enough or close enough to tell if you have A DDO (remember there is more than one folks), but they are good enough to say you don't have THE DDO 69-S.

Even from as far away as your coin is, I can tell it is not the big DDO for this year. Here is what you would see on it:

Note the motto at the top of the coin and the LIBERTY. If all devices don't match this coin, then it is not the DDO everyone is looking for.
Here is a closer view:

Your are probably looking at Machine damage on the devices after the strike. The flat look, shelf like, reduced in size devices are very common on the 1968-1972 cents from all mints.
Here are a few examples of the devices that are damaged after the strike:

Richard S. Cooper
Some have asked about my images I use and I'm glad to say, you can now you can see the DVD in sections on youtube:
1. Intro, older coins, toned coins 2. Doubled dies 3. Die events, One of a kind errors 4. So called errors, Coin information 5. Coin information Types and Varieties, Overlays
