A family member works at a retail-type store. Today some young kid came in and paid with a roll of nickels. When they open the roll, it was all Buffalo nickels! I suspect they were stolen since he obviously had no clue what was inside. Anyways, she gave them to me for my collection! :)

The dates were mostly 1925s, 1926s, 1927s, and 1936s. There was a single 1914 and a single 1920.

That's too bad that some kid most likely stole coins, probably the dad or grandad had his coins stolen from their collection. No bad on you but it's still sad.

Check that 1914 for the 14/13 overdate, these have not been known for very long and can be cherry picked. Good Luck !

That really is too bad. Once, while teaching I had a student bring in two pocketfuls of Mercury dimes. I suggested that he return them to where he found them.
