Here is a 1982 penny where the 2 is split. Could be a mint action but it is probably post mint damage but I am not sure. There is some corrosion where the 2 is split. Any thoughts.

We're going to need a close-up of that coin. I tried enlarging the pic on my computer and so far it just looks damaged. A better pic would help a lot.

So try getting a close-up and posting this in the error section.
