I found this is some change today is it a double die?

This coin does not appear to be doubled to me. The date is normal for this year. Go to Coppercoins.com Advanced Search Page and search for 1972 Doubled Die Obverse. There are some nice pictures there to help you identify the variety.

I don't see anything that would make anyone believe that's a doubled die. It appears completely normal to me. What makes you think this is a doubled die?

I don't know I have one 1972 cent that is skinny this one is fat.

Does this coin show distinct doubling? If not, it is not a doubled die. Pretty simple.
