Those are some interesting options.
I hope I have a couple decades of collecting left in me. If so maybe one of those could happen.
I feel at this point in my collecting ... I am just building a foundation for a possible good collection.

I admire your ever growing collection. Space is becoming a problem for me as is access to selection of coins in my area. My focus this year has been gold commemoratives now that I have the means again.

For the World copper / bronze to be worthwhile, it has to be older, (50 years+), and in top condition, yet still bought cheaply.
Basically, I look for numismatic items that are dealers' junk boxes at a price that they shouldn't be there. For instance, I might buy an item with a catalog value of (say $15), that may be in the $1 junk box.
I try to buy World junk silver in much the same way, but I am looking for ASW silver that is significantly below melt, but I may be looking in the $10 or $15 junk boxes, where condition may still be a factor.
In such a manner I may add perhaps 50 items to my World collection per year. That's an average of only one coin per week, after looking at perhaps 5000 coins in a year. Hit rate of 1 in 100.

Now some might be asking ... was that last coin $100. Well no .. But then I spotted a 2oz Pirate bullion coin. I have one of these when they first came out. But I had this bright idea I could give it some color ...with some heat. After about 10 minutes of heat ... all I got was white The new one looks better in my coin tube Of course the White one goes to the box
