If I can't buy common World silver for below ASW melt from dealers' junk boxes, I just pass, and keep searching.
The search just expands into cheap ancients and good condition World bronze and copper, generally more than 100 years old. U.S. silver and bronze is sometimes included in that.

Of course I love your idea of all silver world coins in the pirates treasure box...and copper wouldn't be as nice. BUT....if you do get a bigger box and you do add copper.... I would suggest some of the old Australian large Kangaroo Pennies. ..I have a stack of them and love them. Of course then you open up a WHOLE myriad of choices, (including our own US Large Cent), along with Ike's and what-have-you....lol You might need a 700 ounce box if you want to include copper...

You really look like a pirate with a treasure chest like that! Anyway, congrats on getting such an amazing collection of silver. I hope I also get there one day (I keep collecting, but still a long way to go).

Quote: Sorry Jbuck ... I forgot to mention the Ikes
Last time I counted my Ike box I saw that some of the year/mint rolls were short a couple coins ...
these will help complete the rolls. No problem. I hoped they were going into The Roll Box of Roll Boxes.

At what point is mechanical assistance required in moving Roll Boxes of Roll Boxes?

I meant that like when one says "King of Kings." Maybe I should have said the "King of Roll Boxes" like we say "King of Beers!" Actually, how does the Roll Box of all Roll Boxes sound? To the point, that is the Roll Box to end all Roll Boxes.

Jbuck I am glad you like the Ike box .... I thought I better take some updated pictures. A little hard to see in the picture. I have a roll tube for each year and mint. the extra rolls in the 4th row are extra 71 and 72 clad rolls. The tubes will hold 21 or 22 coins each. The only roll I need to find more of is the 1976 Type one (1975) coins. Just the 5th row has 40% Ike's. I could fill all the rolls for them .. but don't want to crack out anymore Brown or blue Ike's.

AS long as I was taking pictures .... Thought I better take a update picture of my small dollar box. When I break up mint and proof sets ... did not know what to do with the small dollars. This box holds 20 tubes that hold 25 coins each.

Quote: No wonder I never get an Ike in change. yeah... that's the reason. Quote: I meant that like when one says "King of Kings." Ah... I get it now. But still.... eventually with enough Ikes accumulated, a forklift will be in order.

I'm not sure what we'll see first: GR58- A) on an episode of hoarders B) a TPG label for his Ike hoard C) the opening of a well stocked LCS D) a user name being upgraded to GReat captain Blackbeard58 E) his 8000 post contest with clues to the treasure map

Any or all of those would be excellent.
