Hello! I have collected cards for 35 years and always had a thing for coins as well. I always saved anything odd, unusual, and collectible. I always checked my change for goodies over the years as well. The past few years I been coin roll hunting pennies and save copper wheats and odd stuff. I stumbled across this site recently and thought I would join to learn more about the hobby. Maybe also ask about some of the things I have set aside the past few years. I am still figuring out the abbreviations and lingo you guys use and I'm trying to navigate the site a bit better but that will come in time. Thanks in advance for any tips that I may get. Kevin in CT.

Kevin. Hope you enjoy your stay.

I used to collect baseball cards but at this time my only activity is trying to complete a few sets I started a couple decades ago.

Welcome Kevin!

I finished out a 1973 Topps Baseball set about 10 years ago that I had started when I was a kid. That kind of re-ignited the collector bug in me and when I thought, ok, what's next, I picked up my childhood coin collection and started collecting again.

If you like collecting, there is a lot of fun to be had with coins!

Welcome. I have bought & sold cards as well. I like the T206 series, especially the horizontals. One day, I will put together a set of them. I had, at one time the complete "monster T206 reprint set in the brown box.

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure I can ever leave cards completely but I really enjoy the coins as well and reading some of these threads is getting me excited to add to the coin collection. Thanks again! Kevin in CT.
