Sorry I can't provide photos--didn't have the right equipment to capture this.

A friend of mine has a lovely, gold/brown crusty toned Morgan. Under magnification, there's a short, pointed spike (much wider than a hairline crack) going off northwest from about 1/3 the way down the first 1. It's visible to the naked eye, but the toning makes it less visible than it would be if the coin were blast white.

I looked through VAMWorld, but if this is part of a known VAM, it's not the key point, and I didn't have time to read the details of every one.

Does anybody know of a VAM that has this as one of the attributes?

No image, no opinion.
Describe it as if there were no picture.

To clarify, I'm not asking anyone to identify the VAM without an image, just hoped someone might be aware of one that involved a cud or die break off that 1. I could take it from there, since I know what her coin looks like.

Google "date mm + VAM + die break 1" minus the pluses and see if anything pops up
