Kind of makes me want to put anything minted after 1981, that looks like it "might" be copper, on a scale.

At this point, I even weigh 1981s JUST in case there was some experimental strike on the zinc planchet.

Not taking any chances. Weighing all cents I search. Who knows..might be another year out there with a copper planchet ?

With what has been found so far, I'd say that's not a bad plan. It doesn't seem like it would add too much time to the process, at least with how I do it.
What's the latest copper found? 1990?
