I found this coin in my mother in laws coin she had saved from about 30 yrs ago. Appears to be plated and has no rim ridges.

The weight in grams should tell us what it is. Can you find a way to weigh it? in grams

I'll have to find a scale.Magnet does not stick slides like silver 1964.even sounds the same.

The details do not look suspect to me, and I think I detect some lustre remaining around the devices. Perhaps it spent some time in the dryer, or else someone began turning it into a ring at some point in its early life?

looks like post mint damage which could be a reason why the rims are smooth? Doesn't look suspect.

Spooned coin? Pics aren't sharp enough for me to see dryer damage on the face of the coin, but that could be it too.
