1927 Buffalo Nickel Maybe Sp? - Coin Community Forum

Fiream New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 01/25/2017 12:43 pm I got another one...lol I've had this coin since I was about 8 year old. I got it out out a Gumball Machine... not kidding. Sorry for the crap picture, the battery in my Dslr died. The coin is a dull silver with no mint mark other than the "p" on the front. I was doing some research online and it was showing an SP version of this coin, what is that? * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

And there is no possible way I can tell you your coin is an (SP) but better pics can help see what you have.. I love Buff's Report this Post to the Staff

When you said you got it from a Gumball Machine, my first thought was I never knew they gave back change but realized there was a time when you could put a quarter in a Gumball Machine and the prize would be a Buffalo nickle, Indian cent or Mercury dime or a book of tattoos!
