 I cant believe I have been a member here for 4 years. I have learned so much about coins and grading from all of these great collectors. to celebrate my 5000th post I am posting a contest, however, I really wanted the contest to revolve around coins as thats what we are about and I wanted to keep it simple as some contests are so convoluted I cant even decipher what the contest is. So here it is 1. I have a coin that I will send to any CCF member 2. the first one to guess the coin gets it. 3. I will post a hint based on how the guessing is going so check in often 4. multiple guesses are ok however you can only guess once after each hint is given. OK, I need to redefine the contest. yes I am looking for the coin type, date and mintmark. another hint will be posted tomorrow. also, it is a US Minted coin. sorry about the confusion this is my first contest Hint#1 - the coin was minted in the 20th century Hint#2 - The coin contains more than 50% copper Edited by panzaldi

Quite the milestone- 5005 posts at this moment. Hope this isn't an " exact date" required answer. My guess is an 1888 Morgan silver dollar. Edited by Dennman
