It appears to be a small date because of the shape of the "9", the "6" and the "0". Also, the top of the "1" extends above the top of the "9". I don't know that they made Large Dates at the San Francisco mint. Someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Not a real coin. It is a replica. The 'S' mint mark was the first clue.

Large date over small date ,S/S/S.,DDR ,And struck on a half dollar planchet .

No, you don't see too many of those. It must be pretty rare. I wasn't too concerned with the mint mark (it looks fake), just wondered if they faked a large or small date...
