Its not a date, its just a $12 coin...?

Maybe it came in as part of a collection?

The collection is in your mind. Dispose of your albums and free your mind from the tyranny of holes.

I think the bigger question is why the heck would someone send in a $12 coin to CAC for a green bean.

Perhaps some collector like to have a complete G4 set in CAC sticker

If it came as part of a large lot the whole lot was likely sent. It's easier for Heritage to just send everything then separate out the lot and track separately. It was be negotiated too that the whole consignment would be sent to CAC

I just noticed that the buyer's premiums are higher than the list values of the coins. Along the same line, the costs to certify/grade and confirm/sticker the dimes are also high than the coins' values

More likly that Heritage purchased the coin in a lot under 5K. Heritage would not have any selling fees.

Low Ball registry sets are quite popular. Someone putting one together will likely overpay for it.

G-4 CAC is not low enough for lowballers. Its in the non-collectable range. I'm amazed that HA would put this sort of binder trash in one of their auctions.

Their Internet Only auctions move a lot of low value stuff.

Sold for $35 including premium. Rest of the auction ran from that to a $3 Gold for 3290.

Don't you disparage my coins and their relatives in the binder trash trailer park!
