I've always been fascinated by coins from that mint (even though I currently only have one). CC's are fascinating too, although completely out of reach for me. But I think a set of O's could be a possibility? Now, about all my current budget will allow for is a complete set of Denver Morgans. It cost me $1225, and most of the coins were nice. So the idea is feasible. I still have the Capitol case that came with it, so I will send you a PM. Report this Post to the Staff
dave700x Rest in Peace United States 10625 Posts	Posted 08/13/2017 6:04 pm A complete set of New Orleans Morgans is very feasible although the '86 and '93 through '97 can be tough in higher grades. '90 & '91 can be difficult to find well struck examples and '03 is still over-priced. side note - I just finished my 12th Denver mint set... It depends on the grades you're looking for and the quality of strike. Most O-mint Morgans have notoriously weak strikes, so cherrypicking well-struck examples will take more time and money.
