SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 10/10/2017 11:49 pm Aside the mark, I'm thinking a 65 reverse mated to a good 64 obverse, but I'd call it 64 overall. The shaving accident costs it a full grade in my opinion, so it says MS63 here. Report this Post to the Staff
sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 10/11/2017 08:41 am Those four small dents, plus the cut on the cheek, that for me at least, brings it back to MS63. Pity, the rest of the coin is not too bad at all! Edges of the breast of the eagle has no definition in the feathers, but quite good definition in the center of the breast. I have seen quarters with more definition in Washington's hair than there is with this coin. Makes me think that the dies must have had more than a few coins struck from them.
