I would think MS64 from these images. It looks like a nice one but not quite gem level.

First glance, 65. Closer examination shows later die state on obverse. Did cracks at top of obverse, which doesn't change the technical grade, but cracks are usually not helpful on gold.

Reverse has a BUNCH of copper spots showing.

Overall 63 is closer.

But keep in mind that this is a common date and there are many buyers that won't touch gold with copper spots.

Here's a better pic of the reverse in different light. Those copper spots are less obvious in brighter ambient light.

64 also.

MS64+ and a really nice coin the die cracks don't help gold, but shouldn't affect the grade much, the obv hit @ 9:00 in the rays holds this one back from a solid 65 grade I'd say.

very nice. I do not have much experience grading gold but I am not surprised by the holdered grade.

i see so many banged up SGDEs in ms65 holders, it is refreshing to see a true gem get its due.

I believe NGC was generous here. Assuming booming luster a 65 grade seems fair. There's too many contact marks/spotting for a 66 grade.
