can anyone tell me if the bottom 1982 d copper penny is a small date or not?

To be sure you can compare it to another 82-D. Most are large dates, when you put a small date next to one you can easily see the difference. Copper should be close to 3.11 grams and zinc 2.5. You probably know the one you want is small date 82-D copper. Good luck.
