OldJoeClark Pillar of the Community United States 1260 Posts	Posted 11/03/2017 7:01 pm This one is to point out the small die chip that I have found on 4 coins in the first two rolls I looked through. Ever since they changed to the shield reverse I've seen cracks in that very spot. Year after year..... I held onto them until I realized how abundant they are. But I don't really collect cents. I Put together a roll of 50 of the die cracks and now I am back to glancing at them with my hand magnifier. I just don't like the shield cents and it is difficult for me to go through them. I don't like them either! I guess it has something to do with our history but I don't even think that shield looks American! Keep an eye open for those 17-P's with no hits or carbon spots.
