The first note, with signatures Lyons/Roberts, is worth a little more than the second note with signatures Speelman/White. The nickname given the note is Black Eagle with small portraits of President Lincoln and President Grant. These notes have a premium even in their current condition. I would caution against any conservation and suggest slipping them into currency sleeves before they receive any more handling/damage. A popular note with collectors and not considered rare.
