I'm no expert with this series..but to me that looks more like an AU-58 and maybe just maybe it could slide into low UNC..

Just wondering about general eye appeal. It looks to be graded conservatively to me. Iíve been looking for a higher end example. I see some rough surface areas. Might that be due to die deterioration? Would you go for this one?

Accurately graded, never cleaned or dipped, lovely color. I like it, and I'm a grumpy picky dude.

Appears to be an N-17 variety (common). Iíve not heard of a repunched date Ď53 but there are many things Iíve not heard of... Looks a nice coin.
