Please Help ID Copper Coin From India (Similar To Dewas Half Paisa)

This small and somewhat worn copper coin from India weighs 3.86 g and has a diameter of 16 mm.
There appears to be some similarity to the Dewas half paisa C#22 listed in Krause, but no exact match either on weight or writing.

C#22 is Datia rather than Dewas.

This is a curious object though - I wonder if it were originally silver plated?

Thanks for the correction. I haven't noticed any traces of silver on this coin, but have seen other silver-plated coins.

Haven't found a match yet.

The closest coins to this in terms of weight and design I've found so far are tacas from Garhwal State under Purdaman Shah, dated VS 1842-1861 = AD 1785-1804.
