I thought I would see this kind on the older cents. Any thoughts? Thanks in advanced!

It's more usual to see them on older coins but it can happen to any coin - these are plating bubbles, they add no value to the coin. People often call them "zinc zits"

It is more of trapped debris than trapped gas.

They are probably solid. This looks like the planchet was plated over zinc dust that wasn't washed off, thus leaving these bumps. It was the issue years ago, and this one didn't get the rinse.

Nope. No premium for an ugly coin. I always ask myself before keeping a coin; 'Would I buy this coin?" If not, it goes away.
