Yay 500 posts

Anyway here's the competition:

You have to guess my favourite USA Commemorative Dollar and my favourite Australian $5 coin.

So theres something here for the US guys and Australian guys! And hopefully you others from around the world can have a go too.

If no one has the answers after 3 days I will put up a clue, if no one has the answers another 3 days later I will put up another clue, then it will become fairly obvious...

One Post per day, per person please

OH YES the prizes

A 2007 Australian APEC $1, An Australian UN Anniversey 20c, a 1951D Lincoln Wheat cent, a 1944 Australian Sixpence (Stupid me I mean threepence )

OH if anyone gets ONE right then I will mention who got it, but not which one it was, so they know they're on the right track (you will too)

UPDATE - 1st Clue

The US Dollar relates to my hobby other than coin collecting which can be found if you click on my name.

The Australian $5 commemorates a person.

The winner is... ARTHRENE

he seems to be very good at competitions. The prizes are coming your way, I might take the wheaty out and put something else in it's place, since you have a few and you traded me this one

For the US coin I would say one of these: http://www.usmint.gov/about_the_min...x.cfm#gwComm
and for the Aussie, one of these:
http://www.coins-stamps.com.au/inde...page0022.htm

But since you going to be technical about it I would say the "1996 National Community Service Silver Dollar" for the and the "2004 - 150 Years of Steam Railways"

Image is small but this is a 1989 Statue of Freedom dollar coin
500th-Post-Competition!---We-Have-A-Winner

Spedward,
Really, thanks a lot for this contest. I don't have money to go and splurge on bullion. To be honest until now, I have never really looked at the commemorative section of Red Book. The U.S. mint has made some very attractive coins in this section! I wish our circulating issues could look like some of these. If Red Book prices are accurate (which they're probably not due to the rising price of bullion) I may be able to afford some of the silver coins.
