I'm slowly building my numismatic library--106 works and counting

With assistance, trying to compile a listing of numismatic reference books & materials available to collectors http://goccf.com/t/174749

Thanks MV! Okay so the 1995 Civil War Battlefields Half Dollars were issued in proof and uncirculated versions, both produced at the San Francisco Mint. But I can't tell if it was a proof or business strike.

P.S. Not that it really matters at this point.

Someone around here has gotta be dumping these things into circulation. This is the third one I've found in three months. I had to look this one up as well to see what is was!

Or Junior found the keys to Dad's coin safe!
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell all my coins for what I told her I paid for them.

Working on Whitman Large Cent date set album 1793-1857 (57 holes filled of 64 total) now come the "toughies" - yikes!
