numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11898 Posts	Posted 04/06/2018 09:26 am It was the seller's photos but I cropped them. The coin appears to have a thin wire rim as opposed to a wider flat rim. I was concerned that the design seemed to go too far to the edge,but looking at a number of buffaloes in slabs, it seems like there are both thin and thick rims surrounding the coin. Would like to hear opinions about whether the rims bring the coin's authenticity into question. Report this Post to the Staff
