I think the reverse is a solid 35 probably closer to a 40 and may be as high as a 45. The obverse looks to be worn, but the wear doesn't match with what the reverse is showing. Which makes me think that this is a weak strike. The rims are super strong on the front and the lettering is sharp as well, which also makes me think this is a strike issue...

I don't think that there is any question that this coin saw some circulation, but I don't think it saw that much. I'm sitting on a location using my work laptop which has a horrible graphics card in it... So I'm not sure, but I think I'm seeing just a smidge of luster.

So long story short... I'm going to call this one a VF-30 maybe as high as a EF-45 depending on the strike... But I'd need a better monitor to view it on. For whatever it's worth when I'm buying for my personal collection I don't take strike into account... So were I to buy this one, I'd probably wouldn't pay any more than VF-25 price.

Beautiful coin though... Probably better than the one in my collection, our obverses look roughly the same, but your reverse is quite a bit better.

Nice coin, I'd give it a VF30-35. The cheek bone is a bit too worn for XF as are the wheat tips. The 14S's were usually fairly well struck, so what we are seeing is wear and not strike weakness.
