1853 Large Cent RPD Repeated 1 Cherrypicked Today

The base of the one appears to have a second base. I would love some additional information if anyone has any (Value etc). paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 04/25/2018 10:04 pm It's Newcomb's N-13. The base of the 1 has been recut (repunched). It's not very scarce, but the strong RPD tends to bring collector interest along with the similar N-25. I would grade it high VF sharpness; unfortunately, the odd reddish-blue colors are not original to the coin.
