We have these Canadian coins from our travels in the 80s and 90s.

four $2 Dollar Canadian Coins
three $1 Dollar Canadian Coins
ten .25 cent coins
six .10 cent coins
nine .05 cent coins
nine .01. cent coins

Some of the coins are in very nice condition. Weight of all the coins is 6.9oz.

We don't plan to go to Canada anytime soon, so looking for a fair value and best online outlet for selling them. Thank you for your time!

Apologies if this is the wrong forum...

All pocket change. You will have a tough time getting rid of it for the proper exchange rate . Donate it is best .

Unfortunately, all of it is only worth face value in Canada. Some large currency exchange places take high denominations (the $1 and $2) at half the paper rate. Also unfortunately the mailing costs make it prohibitive to send anything smaller than $1 through the mail. If you belong to a coin club, auction it starting at 1/2 face value. A coin store might buy it at $3-4 per pound.

For $15, throw it up on eBay, you may get $6-$8 usd + postage if it is worth your time.

thank you! We will either donate (but would that be a burden to the recipient?) or list at shipping value.

Thanks John100! It is a beautiful country. We are originally from Minnesota so Canada was a very close neighbor for us (boundary waters area).

If you don't plan to visit any Canada any time soon, you can always give the coins away to relatives or friends who are going to visit Canada.

Also, Canadian quarters, dimes, and nickels are the same size as US ones. So you can use them in parking meters.
