@MM, in 1928 (and many other years), coins minted in Philadelphia were not given a mint mark. Yours is well-preserved, but not remarkable due to a "missing" mintmark.

Your Lincoln cent seems to be in pretty good shape. Althou old it has a mintage of over 134 Million. So not rare, but maybe worth up to 25¢ because of the condition - common wheats in circulated condition in the 40's-50's are the ones with the 2-3¢ values.
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell all my coins for what I told her I paid for them.

Working on Whitman Large Cent date set album 1793-1857 (57 holes filled of 64 total) now come the "toughies" - yikes!

Looks to be Fine or better, nice condition, retail might be around 30-40 cents.
