Hey guys, I received a full strap of CU bills today, and the bills were all from 1999 in uncirculated condition! I've never found CU bills this old before, let alone star notes. They came in 2 straps of $50, so they aren't in the original wrapper, though they are in sequence. What would be an approximate value for them, given the fact they're brand new 1999 star notes with ordinary serial numbers?

I got a strap back in 1999 and sold to a LCS for 10 cents profit on each note . Sellers remorse sense then

Ouch! Anyway, Steve in Tampa will have the input here, among others.

It's hard to give a value without photos or at least knowing the district.

Popular districts for star packs in this series include Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, St Louis and San Francisco.
All of these districts had millions of star notes printed and distributed in packs of 100. Back 10 years ago, these packs sold for under $200, and now they sell for $200-$300.

They're district L, which was a bit surprising since I'm on the east coast

A $1 star pack (San Francisco) sold five days ago on eBay for $249.

San Francisco had six 3.2M runs of star notes for series 1999 ... over 19M star notes for just that district. The last run however, was a short run of 640K printed in February of 2003. L19200001* - L19840000*
