I won't say anything other than I think I got a good deal on this one. What do you all think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...150276077410EDIT: Thought I'd add that I've never bought from someone with such a low rep before. And check out the shipping!! $16 in shipping for 2 nickels.....I wouldn't really trust any seller that is that shady
And he's not a coin seller....looks like he owns a pawn shop

Which is highly against their rules to for that one reason. I'd personally stay away from a seller that has such disrespect for the rules. Who knows what other stuff he will do....or not do Hope the nickels are what they say they are

I took shipping into account... This guys shipping is crazy across the board...
Look at the 2 specific nickels that were auctioned though.
The pics aren't great, but they're good enough to make a ballpark guess at grade. Even using the low end of that grade and then compare it to the combined ship price it comes out to $8.05 a coin...

I believe you got a good deal. The shipping costs may have driven bidders away and you ended up grabbing it. Well done.

If you indeed get it in two days via Fed-Ex then yes it's a good deal, if it comes later, or by different carrier then no Obviously face value on UNC Nickels is a deal no matter how you slice it. Unfortunately or fortunately the cheapest Fed-Ex two day service is, I believe, $22.00 so unless he gets a discount on shipping from Fed-Ex I don't see him taking a loss on it! I don't know the distance between Waco & Cypress but at least you're both in Texas if things go badly.

If you do an advanced search for completed listings you picked them up on the low end of the price range for "bu" coins. Looks like they go for anywhere between $8 and $15 ungraded. Congrats on your purchase.
I hate when the seller mispells words though. Is it by accident? Or trying to deceive! "I didn't say it was ungreased" lol just kidding you.

For the total price at $16.10, for 2 50D nickels in unc condition is pretty darn good...let us know if he really ships it to you in 2-day fed-ex. Hopefully the nickels are problem-free

I think you got a great deal. I wouldn't worry about the shipping cost that was a way for the seller to save $1-2 in ebay fees. What is the difference in $0.10 + 16.00 shipping and $16.10 bid free shipping? Nothing. Your cost is still $16.10 delivered. -SWUSC

Even tho the shipping and handling charges are a bid high, he wasn't trying to hide that fact. I've won bids with the shipping charges quoted just to receive a note from the seller that it was more and then made to feel like a low life if I didn't pay up. Of course he gave me a negative and ruined my score.

Zohar, that's a pretty good tactic. I try to look for those. Shipping should just be factored into the final price, nothing more.

This guy sells a lot of higher value items. My guess would be that he has a Fed-Ex account and decided it would be easier to just ship these coins with his other Fed-Ex shipments. Also, I'm sure that he does get a discount based on his shipping volume with them. It is obvious that he is not familiar with coins. If you look at the category he listed them in, you'll see what I mean: Coins & Paper Money > Coins: US > Other. I don't think that it ever occurred to him that his shipping would be considered high. He should have checked other coin listings to compare. I think you got a good deal on these coins. If they're really nice, one of those could have sold for what you paid for both.
