Good evening fellow coin lovers!

I was sorting my dimes and came across this beautiful shiny dime.

It looks to me like the rim is thicker on the left of the coin rn While the right side. There is also a mark by the date and I wasn't sure if this is a mint mistake or if it is a post production mark.

Any feedback is warmly welcomed! So excited and learning as much as I can!!

Thank you all

I've added the reverse and a comparison photo. The dime in question is on the left (both photos)

Thank you for helping me learn!

@Coinfrog
Thank you so much!

Hope this helps :)

I will be getting a usb microscope soon! My lighting is terrible and I have a slightly broken phone so I really appreciate you taking the time

I'm mostly interested to learn so when I look through the coins I can better understand and identify what I'm looking at.

truecents!

Mr.Frog got it right. Both coins have mis-aligned dies. On Roosevelt dimes they are the most common out of every other denomination (I did a study of sorts) so they hold no premium. Look forward to seeing more posts with your scope when it arrives!

No value premium for either one of these MADs, but yet that one on the left is a particularly nice example.
