Your right, with the picture sideways, never noticed that.

The deformity of his face is not an error. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that this happened after it left the U.S. Mint (damaged after it was struck).

Tend to agree. This coin has been mushed and discolored over its short life. Not an error.
