I like this one "I have had it looked at by a local coin collector and they did confirm it was authentic." That really gives me confidence. His 1916-D mercury looks fake as well. End Yes, because every very rare coin spontaneously grew a plastic slab around it as soon as the TPG's started up. The coin is a fake though, appears to be too thick, plain edged, and has been struck in a close collar. Report this Post to the Staff
