Looks like the Sheldon 277 1-A die pairing with the reverse broken and sunken die. First star in obverse is faint and ST in reverse is weak where the die is failing. Thoughts on grade and problems? panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18668 Posts	Posted 05/07/2019 1:46 pm I'm not an expert on these but I do have one. the die break does appear to be S-277 variety, however, the front of the headband is flat and not raised which is another indicator. star 1 is too obvious for a later die state obverse. my guess would be S-277 early die state but I think the later die states with the star missing is more desirable Report this Post to the Staff

As a result it had some paper shavings, Wiped it lightly with a fine microfiber cloth and put it away for storage. Report this Post to the Staff
