VF35 weak strike. the gash in field at 3 o'clock may details the coin based on its location

I'm closer to VF-30. Gash worries me as well.

I think it's a dark toning mark, not a gash. I don't see any signs of metal movement around the area when I put the seller's hi-def pictures on zoom (I can't post them here because they're like 8MB each.) Seller has a 30 day returns so if it does turn out to be a problem I'll drop it back in the mail, but I usually have good results from this seller so fingers crossed.

I'm at VF20 maybe VF25 due to wear on the reverse, more than I see on VF30 or better coins usually.

I'm with westcoin at VF25 and a VF20 grade would not surprise.
